I am a volunteer for a small Basset Hound rescue serving Oklahoma and southwest Missouri. We are in a dire situation.........all of our foster families are overflowing. Unless we can get more foster homes in MO, OK or even KS or northern TX we will be unable to pull and save dogs.

If anyone is interested or has ideas, please post and I'll respond as soon as possible!

We are 501c3 and registered with the MO Department of Agriculture. We have the appropriate screening measures for both fosters and adopters and are a responsible and reputable rescue. You can check us out at http://www.4thehounds.org

Martha, you might want to post on Alex Brown Racing forum under the dog cat section. I have had good success there with response, seems like there are quite a bit of people on there from the middle of the country. My sister has 2 bassett rescues .

You may also want to add your state to the heading of this post. I am not sure how many PFs are from your area but they will be more likely to read a post regarding their state.

I hope you find more foster homes!

We are all basset lovers and many of us can cross post etc...
