No specific time. After Thanksgiving, before Christmas. I was thinking since we have an artificial tree, and a dining room we never really use, I would just leave it up this time. Maybe throw a tarp over it in the summer.
But yeah, eventually sometime in December usually, I will get in the mood and decorate. |

We usually decorate the week after Thanksgiving and it all comes down on New Years Day. The house always looks so much bigger when it is all packed away!! _________________ If you can read this, thank a teacher.

I walk dogs everyday and saw here where someone had their Christmas decorations (not just lights) up on Sunday. Way too early as far as I am concerned. _________________ IN DOG YEARS, I'M DEAD

Nuthing goes up till Dec 1st-- the tree-- not till mid Dec. We take it down usually right before I go back to work-- which this year will be Jan 11th-- it'll come down the 9th-10th.
Stores that put the xmas music on too early don't get my business as I can't stomach xmas in November. I just leave.
I saw some lights up already Nov 1st. That is nuts. _________________ We figured there was too much happiness here for just the two of us, so we figured the next logical step was to have us a critter. |

| I don't decorate. I have too many cats and I'm not home enough to enjoy it, so I enjoy other peoples. Now, don't peg me for a scrooge, I love Christmas, just not enough time for it. |

Usually right after Thankgiving, we have an artificial one so we like to have it up all month. Lately though Sammy has been asking to have it up right before Thanksgiving. I let her do it what do I care, I am not uptight about it _________________

| Thanksgiving weekend, the outside decorations/lights go up. I decorate the interior over 2 weekends in December. However, my neighbor leaves his outside lights up year round. Last night I arrived home to see them on. Guess my neighbor was testing them (I hope). |

We start the day after Thanksgiving and finish by the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. Nothing comes down until after January 11. Hubby's birthday is Jan. 9. _________________ Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

| I usually decorate in early December. Honestly I am kind of excited about some holiday cheer because this year has been pretty stressful for my family, and there could possibly be more stress pending the arrival of my twin nephews. However I was in the Dollar Store the other day and they had summer clearance stuff, Halloween stuff and Christmas stuff all together. It was kinda weird. But I love Christmas and I will be happy for it to be here. |

I used to do it the weekend after Thanksgiving, and go all out and cover the whole house with stuff. The last few years I havent been as interested, so the only thing that goes up is the tree, stockings and a few decorations, very minimal. Last year I waited until about two weeks before Christmas.
No matter when I put them up, though, I take them down within a day or two after Christmas day.
I went to Walmart a few weeks ago (cringe), early October, and they already had the garden department set up with artificial trees. Waaaaay too early. _________________

I try really hard to decorate at least a week before Christmas!! We have to have a "cold snap" before I get in the mood!! I just can't decorate or shop until I wear a sweatshirt....
Decorations usually come down before New Years....whenever I have the time to repack it all! _________________
